The Penn State Nittany Lions open practice on Wednesday night in the media's final observation window before the team's showdown with Oregon this weekend. We'll start the show by discussing what Oregon head coach Dan Lanning had to say about the Nittany Lions last night. Reporter Greg Pickel will outline what the Duck's head coach had to say about the matchup last night. 

Next, we'll dive right into the positional breakdowns. Which quarterback has the advantage in this game? Is Drew Allar or Dante Moore the better passer? We'll debate and discuss. From there, we'll go through each offensive unit to see which team has a better overall group of players around the quarterback. 

Which players need to step up?

Saturday is a top-ten matchup, meaning that both teams, regardless of who has the advantage, are very good. If Penn State wants to win, it will need its best from many of its key players. We'll outline which players need to step up their game from the non-conference season. We'll pick three each and discuss. 

Practice preview and Best Bets 

Finally, we'll outline what we want to see at practice tonight and what we expect to see from the offensive and defensive fields during the roughly ten-minute window of access before the White Out. We'll close out the show with Pickel's Best Bets, including what he's picking with Penn State and Oregon.
